Day 36 of 40 Days of Prayer

For those of you praying along with me for miracles these forty days, please read aloud this Psalm with my name and ask God to reveal new feeling and function in my body.

Psalm 142 (NIV)

A maskil of David. When he was in the cave. A prayer.

1 Laura cries aloud to the Lord;

Laura lifts up her voice to the Lord for mercy.

2 Laura pours out before him her complaints;

before him Laura tells her trouble.

3 When Laura’s spirit grows faint within her,

it is you who watches over her way. In the path where she walks people have hidden a snare for her.

4 Look and see, there is no one at Laura’s right hand;

no one is concerned for her. Laura has no refuge; no one cares for Laura’s life.

5 Laura cries to you, Lord;

Laura says, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”

6 Listen to Laura’s cries,

for she is in desperate need; rescue Laura from those who pursue her, for they are too strong for her.

7 Set Laura free from her prison,

that she may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about Laura because of your goodness to her.
